[ garden ] :: update - there is no more winter garden

I was in the middle of writing the recipe for today, when I decided to go outside and check on my garden to see how my plants were doing. They fared very well throughout the snow and ice we had these past few weeks, and with temperatures in the 60's and 70's this week, they really took off!

Two days ago, my Georgia Collards looked like this...

Thanks, Demon Dogs. Does anyone else have a dog that likes veggies? They already devoured all of my broccoli plants (all 20 of them...). I knew they liked kale, cabbage, broccoli, and cauliflower, so it makes sense that they would eat my collards, too. Ugh. I obviously need to build a little fence around my garden.
