Publix: Weekly ad here. Whoo! Great deals for FREE pasta this week, and a ton of deals for food for $1 or less.
Every week, Publix publishes a "Penny Item" that is valid on the first day of their weekly sale. Here in the Metro Atlanta area, it's on Thursday for most stores. However, you do need the Penny Item coupon, located in the Living section of the AJC. (Note: sometimes the AJC has a $5 off Publix coupon, too!) So, in order to get the Penny Item for the week you need your coupon and you have to spend $10 in groceries before coupons. Easy-peasy!

Here are some of the items on my shopping list this week:
Pace Restaurant Style or Chunky Salsa, 16 oz: $1.39 - use $1 off 2 newspaper coupon, makes it $0.89 each
Barilla Pasta, 12-16 oz:$0.75 - buy 2, use $0.55 off 2 Publix coupon (in flier) and $1 off 2 coupon here, makes both FREE
Hidden Valley Original Ranch Dressing, 16 oz: $1.59 - use $1.50 off coupon here (use zip code 99218)
Publix steam in bag veggies or rice: $1
Crunchmaster Multi-seed or Multi-Grain Crackers, 4.5 oz: $2 - use $1 off coupon here, makes it $1
Swanson broth, 32 oz: $1.32 - buy 2, use $1 off 2 coupon here, makes it $0.82 each
Stayfree Ultra Thin Pads, 14-24 ct: $1.74 - use $1 off coupon here, makes it $0.74
Windex Glass Cleaner Refill, 67.6 oz: $2.69 - buy 2, use $1.50 off 2 coupon here, and $2 off 2 store coupon, makes it $0.94 each!

I'll be stocking up on Windex, Swanson broth, and Barilla pasta. I've been hoarding Barilla coupons in preparation for a great sale like this! Head to the store early in case the coupon-crazies clean out the shelves!
