[ grocery ] :: weekly deals sneak peek!

It's a brand new week of grocery deals! Here are some of my picks for items that I'll be stocking up on. Go to Southern Savers to see other deals - maybe there is something you need on sale!

Aldi: Weekly ad here. Remember: Aldi does not accept coupons, and you need to bring your own bags and a quarter! See my guide here. Aldi has a bunch of deals this week on German foods. Did you know that they originally started there? I've tried their German-style sausages, and I must say they are delicious. Try them! I might surprise The Hubs with an Oktoberfest meal this week.

You can bet I'll be getting toilet paper, toothpaste, and soap at Kroger tomorrow. Stock up on chicken this week! I usually cut the fat and skin off of chicken breasts or thighs, wrap them tightly in Saran-wrap, and freeze them. It's a great way to save money! I love using bone-in chicken breasts for baking, since it keeps the meat from drying out and adds extra flavor.

If you have questions about your coupons, or where to find them, please comment below. Happy savings!
