[ garden ] :: wishing for rain...

Man, I am wishing for a big rain storm! I've been watering my thirsty little tomato transplants every morning to keep them growing. They're so spoiled. One of my favorite things about rain storms is the smell in the air right before them. Ever wonder what that was?

I guess this explains why I think raw beets and Swiss Chard smell like dirt - it's the geosmin in them!
