[ grocery ] :: weekly deals sneak peek

Holy heck, I didn't plan my blogging-break very well...there are so many deals this week for Thanksgiving that they are making my head spin. I will probably be buying some items that I normally wouldn't get, but with visiting friends and family it doesn't hurt to have different foods on sale.

I'm only including the weekly ad deals for Target and Aldi - the prices at Target and Kroger are the same or higher, so these two stores are your best deal.

This is what I get for complaining that there weren't any good deals a few weeks ago...anyway...it's a brand new week of grocery deals! Here are some of my picks for items that I'll be stocking up on. Go to Southern Savers to see other deals - maybe there is something you need on sale.

Publix: Weekly ad here. I usually don't include the Publix ad in my Saturday list since their sales begin on Wednesday or Thursday. However, their deals are good until Thanksgiving day - the new ad is published on Friday. I already picked up some items earlier this week, but who knows...I may go back...again...

Aldi: Weekly ad here. Remember: Aldi does not accept coupons, and you need to bring your own bags and a quarter! See my guide here. Get your holiday supplies now! I'll be getting a lot of crackers, cheeses, and dips for holiday entertaining.

TBA

Kroger: Weekly ad here. Check for coupons on these items to save even more! Kroger is having a huge sale, and they have a digital coupon out for $5 off a $20+ meat purchase. Read more about it here to get info on the deal.

Target: Weekly ad here. Check for coupons on these items to save even more! I started using the Target mobile coupons - you just text the code to the provided number and you get a link for coupons on your smartphone! The cashier scans the code and the savings are automatically applied. Cartwheel is also a really nifty way to save at Target - sign up, select your deals, and print out a special code to be scanned at the register. There are a lot of the same deals as last week!
