It's a brand new week of grocery deals! Here are some of my picks for items that I'll be stocking up on. Go to Southern Savers to see other deals - maybe there is something you need on sale!

Every week, Publix publishes a "Penny Item" that is valid on the first day of their weekly sale. Here in the Metro Atlanta area, it's on Thursday for most stores. However, you do need the Penny Item coupon, located in the Living section of the AJC. (Note: sometimes the AJC has a $5 off Publix coupon, too!) So, in order to get the Penny Item for the week you need your coupon and you have to spend $10 in groceries before coupons. Easy-peasy!

This week's Penny Item is Publix Crackers, 8-16 oz, limit 1.

Here are some of the items on my shopping list this week, plus a few more that may end up on yours! You can bet your butt I'll be getting the Rotel tomatoes, and probably the Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce. And the Angel Soft tissues? Who can pass up free tissues?

Armour Meatballs, 14 oz: $2.49

Marzetti Dip or Otria Greek Yogurt Dip: $1.84 - use $1 off coupon here or here, makes it $0.84
Sabra Hummus, 10 oz or 4 pk: $1.99 - use $1 off coupon here, makes it $0.99

Celentano All Natural Pasta: $1.99 - use $1 off newspaper coupon, makes it $0.99
Barilla Pasta: $0.74 - buy 2, use $1 off 2 newspaper coupon, makes it $0.24 each
Sweet Baby Ray's Gourmet Sauces: $1.04 - buy 2, use $1 off 2 newspaper coupon or coupon here, makes it $0.54 each
Rotel Diced Tomatoes: $0.67 - buy 2, use $0.40 off 2 newspaper coupon, makes it $0.27 each

Publix Seltzer Water, 2L: $0.49 I like mixing this with juice as a soda substitute!

2000 Flushes Automatic Bowl Cleaner, 1 ct: $1.74 - use $1 off coupon here, makes it $0.74
Angel Soft Facial Tissue, 65-165 ct: $0.75 - use $1 off newspaper coupon or $0.50 coupon here (it doubles to $1), makes it FREE
